Winter Fun

I am enjoying the winter, cold as it may be. I really don't like the cold, but am trying very hard to enjoy the beauty of winter. Actually it is VERY beautiful. I love it when all the trees and mountains are glistening white. I have not been skiing yet, but we are going on a family weekend ski trip in a couple of weeks.

Tomorrow I'm off to Houston for the amazing Wealth Masters International 5 year Birthday Bash. It will be amazing, I have no doubt.

I am looking forward to the bash, as well as the warmth. It HAS to be warmer than in Salt Lake City.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Have a fabulous day!

Wow, What a Trip! Maui was Fabulous!

I'm still jet-lagged from an all-night flight back from Maui Wed night, but what a wonderful trip.  Not only is the island and everything else beautiful, but the weather could not have been better.  I took my family and together we snorkeled, dived, swam, ate, ran, and looked pretty much non-stop.  We traveled the island from East to West and South to North.  And, we loved every minute of it.

On our last day there, we spoke very seriously with a woman in a shop about the school system (good school close by to where we stayed), cost of living, housing prices, and much, much more.  I definitely did not want to come home.

Photos to come very soon, once I can narrow the hundreds down to a small album.

Enjoy your day.  And, remember that consistent, committed effort towards your business is the only way to achieve success.

Off to Maui!

Tomorrow morning we leave for Maui.  I would be more excited except that I hurt my back Saturday and have pretty much been in bed since.   I have had my physical therapist come to my home the past two days, so I'm definitely getting better.  However, I better not have to miss scuba diving while I'm there!  That would be a real bummer, especially since my son just got certified so that we can dive together.

My kids are both extremely excited to be going to Hawaii.  And, of course, we are too.  It will be a fun trip, I'm certain.

I'll post photos and more info when we return.

Until then, much success  to all of you!

What A Fabulous Trip

My partner and I traveled to New York City in May to celebrate a birthday, site-see and to see a few shows.  And wow, did we ever!  We were able to see four broadway shows in four days!  We saw the amazing Wicked, the fabulous Billy Elliott, the most amazing performance by Jane Fonda in 33 Variations, and the Tony nominated 'Best New Play' Reasons to be Pretty.

We were also able to walk a good deal of downtown Manhattan since our hotel was so close to Grand Central Station, Time Square, Broadway, and many other great areas.

We were able to get five days away from the kids (don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my children, but... sometimes you need a bit of a break, right?).  It was truly a piece of heaven on earth.  I did not expect to leave NYC saying "I want to move here", but I did.  I could easily live there for a year or so, just to soak in all the fabulous and rich diversity and entertainment.  What an incredible and unique city.

Our next trip will be to Hawaii.  We leave next week.  Yes, we will be taking the children this time.  My son and I just got Scuba certified (actually I got re-certified) and will be scuba diving while we are there as well.  I simply can't wait.  I'll be sure to tell you about it when we return.

In the meantime, have a wonderful week, month, year, and life!   We are all blessed with many things in our lives, and I am very grateful for mine.

Keeping Your Motivation

One of  the biggest problems others have, no matter what the business, is KEEPING YOUR MOTIVATION long enough, and consistent enough to CONTINUE TO MAKE PROGRESS!  You may ask, what do you mean?  Well, consider this:

I have just told you that tomorrow you are leaving for an all-expense PAID two-week vacation to the south of France.  EVERYTHING will be paid for, by ME.   Imagine what you would be thinking right now.  All sorts of thoughts would be racing through your mind.  What should I pack?  Where will we want to go while we're there?  What are some good restaurants in the area that we will want to visit?  Do you think you might have a little trouble sleeping tonight?  After all, tomorrow you will be leaving tomorrow morning.  And, do you think you might mind getting up at 4am to catch your 6am flight?  And, do you think you will mind the 24-hour flight to get there?  I think you will NOT object to any of these things, because you are getting something you have only dreamed of, right?
Of course that's right.

Now, why are you not taking your real 'dreams' and treating them the same way as you would if you were going on that all-expense paid two-week vacation to France?  Why is it that we do this to ourselves?  If you're willing to get up early to take a flight to France, why aren't you willing to get up early to work your own business?  After all, isn't your business what will ultimately make your dreams possible?

Think about this.  Think about it a lot.  And, try to work as hard in your business with as much enthusiasm as you would if you were taking that all-expense paid vacation tomorrow.

Where should I take my family on vacation?

We've been telling the kids for two years now that we would go to Hawaii this summer.  We have tentatively booked a condo, but I want to find out what the best places are to take the kids.  We have a 11 year old boy and a 5 year old girl.  From what we've heard, we should go to Maui; much more to see/do.  And yet, Kaui is beautiful too.  I don't want HOARDS of crowds, but I also don't want (well, I do, but the kids don't) total serenity.  I'd like to be close to the ocean and to a good beach (not on the rocks), so we don't have to drive to a beach.  I know I'm not asking much, am I?  LOL

Any suggestions/advice/tips are greatly appreciated!
Have a great day!

What  a long day.  Work, Work, Work, and then a doctor's appointment.  Now I'm too sore to go to sleep, so here I am updating my blog.  Have you ever wondered just how many people are up during the night when you are?  I am wondering that right now.  It would be interesting to find out, but I don't think that's possible.  One thing that I am doing is listening to some amazing CD's about Prosperity.  Most of us do not believe that we deserve to live a prosperous life.  And yet, we all do deserve EVERYTHING.  I certainly believe I deserve a prosperous life and am working very hard to obtain all that I desire out of life.

Through hard work and perserverence, I don't see a way to fail.  I hope you agree with me.  I'd like to know your thoughts on this subject.
